A Letter of Appreciation

"It's no secret that we have one of the most remarkable communities in the world. It was truly amazing to have the Brooklyn and Deal senior citizens come together every week during the summer. Every Tuesday at SBH in Deal, there were overflowing crowds of happy faces singing, dancing and just enjoying each other. What a sight! Seniors from all over, with wheelchairs, canes and walkers, gathered together with joy and laughter! It touched my heard and filled my soul with happiness! The beautiful volunteers, instilled with the spirit of generosity, picked us up, dropped us off and interacted so lovingly with us. They are a group of angels from God!

People don't realize how important and special it is for the seniors of our community to have a day to get out, be withpeople and enjoy themselves in such a wonderful and caring environment. It gives them the socialization and recognition they crave.

Personally, I am so proud of our community for what we have built and for how far we have come over the years. What a blessing it is to be able to take care of our own! I want to especially thank Mimi Levy, Carol Malhe, and all the volunteers and the staff at SBH for making this happen. Thank you for lifting the souls of so many. We love you!"
