The Reach for the Stars Program is designed for autistic children ages 4-16 years old. It started in the year 2000, in response to a request from parents for a program of recreation for the children and respite for the families. The children are treated to a full day of activities including music therapy, art therapy, yoga therapy and free play. Each child is paired with a volunteer who must undergo training. 

SBH Traveling Teens started a few years later for higher functioning teenagers diagnosed with Asperger's Autism, ADHD, PDD, Cerebral Palsy or other developmental delays. This group goes on outings every other week with a Special Ed. teacher. One volunteer is paired for every two teens.The volunteers undergo training and commit themselves to participating in the program every other Sunday.
